Returns Policy
30 Day Returns
Valid for online purchases from Gift Hair Collection. Our physical store returns policy may differ!
We hope that you will be happy with your purchase. However, if for any reasons you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return any item/s bought within 30 days of receipt for a refund or exchange. All returned Items MUST be in its original condition as received. Damaged returned items or where items bought has been tampered or used cannot be refunded. Costs incurred in returning the goods are solely borne by the buyer. Except where there has been an agreement between the buyer and the seller to share or offset costs.

We recommend that you use a secured method of postage when returning products to ensure that it gets to us, and protect the products from damage.
We reserve the right to refuse to issue a refund or replacement where the item/s returned are is/not in a fully re-saleable condition and to recover the cost of returning or collecting the goods in the event that the goods are found to have suffered damage after delivery or have been misused or used other than in accordance with the instructions or if the problem is due to normal wear and tear or if the goods have not been returned with its original packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights.
 

RETURNS PROCEDURE

For Exchange:

For exchange, please notify us by email at info
@gifthaircollection.co.uk within 30 days of receipt of goods before sending any item back. Please note that items MUST be returned in its original condition as received.
 
Please make sure that you have identified in your email the item/s that you wish to exchange. You will be charged re-delivery costs to send the exchanged item/s. Delivery charges will not be refunded where items has been delivered correctly. So, if you are returning an item that has not been supplied correctly we will pay for the costs to send you the correct item/s again.


To identify your returns,  write your full names and invoice number on a piece of paper and include it in the parcel which you will be sending back to us. This would also help us process your request for exchange faster.

We recommend that you use a secure method of postage when returning products to ensure that it gets to us, and protect the products from damage. We reserve the right to refuse your request for exchange, where the item/s returned is/are not in a fully re-saleable condition, or the packaging is damaged as explained above.
What Happens Next?
We will examine any returned goods and will notify you about your replacement item via email within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process a delivery of a replacement item as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day we confirmed to you via email that you are entitled to it. 

For Refund:

Returning for a refund, please notify us by email at: info@gifthaircollection.co.uk within 30 days of the receipt of goods before sending any item back. Please note that items MUST be returned in its original condition as received as explained above. You will be responsible for returning the item/s back.

Transaction Fees:

Please note we do not refund transaction fees (this is the fee charged by the payment gateway provider for processing your payment) including Paypal, Amazon Pay, Laybuy and bank payment and any other payment platform we use from time to time. The transaction fee(s) would depend on the payment method you choose and it's subject to change. Currently, Paypal fee standard is 3.4% + (30p  fixed fee); additional percentage applies for international payment (outside the UK) ranging from 0.5% - 2% depending on location. Amazon Pay fees are charged at a rate of  2.7% + 0.30 (fixed fee) standard; additional percentage applies to international payment (outside the UK) ranging from 0.4% - 1.5% depending on location. Laybuy processing fee is 6%. Please note that the rates are subject to change without notice!

Delivery Costs: 

Please note we do not refund delivery costs for all transactions. This also applies to products that were offered on free delivery. For example, if you were offered free delivery when you spend £50 or more we will supply your order based on this promo. But, if you return the item(s) please note that you will loose the free delivery. In other words, your order would be disqualified for free delivery since it was tied to your order value. In this case, we will deduct the cost of the delivery when processing your refund whether or not you paid for a delivery. Free delivery are therefore not free if you return the item(s) back.  

Free Gifts:

The same rule also applies to Free gifts offered on purchase of any selected or specified products. If you were to return your order, you would have to return the free gifts or products that were offered for free as part of a purchase. Keeping the product would or may be chargeable (costs deductible). There is no guarantee that you would not be charged as we expect you to return all the associated products related to that purchase; however this is solely at our discretion. Free gifts therefore is not free if you return the products tied to the free offer!
What Happens Next?

Once we have received your returned item/s safely, you will be refunded the original cost of the item/s MINUS shipping (Postage and packaging) and transaction costs. Please note that shipping costs will not be refunded (this also includes free delivery listings) except where incorrectly supplied. You will be notified by email once your refund has been processed. Refunds will be made by crediting the payment card or electronic payment account you used to purchase the product/services  and processed as soon as possible and, in any case within 30 days of the day we confirmed to you via email that you are entitled to a refund.  For payment made via Debit /Credit card, funds may take up to 5-7 working days to appear on your card after your refund has been initiated and processed.

ADDITONAL RETURNS POLICY
 Clearance/ SALE ItemsPlease note that Sale or Clearance items does not qualify for refunds, however exchange will only be accepted. Such items are sold at discounted and reduced rates and therefore NO Refund, Exchange only. Please refer to our exchange procedure above.

Wholesale OrdersPlease note that wholesale or bulk orders does not qualify for refunds or exchange! Such orders are sold at reduced rates and prices and differs from our normal listings. 
 
Hair RepairsWe do not offer refunds or exchange for Hair Repairs.This is not a product transaction but a service! This includes 'Lace Wigs, Hair Extensions and Toupee repairs. Therefore, payment made to us for this purpose is not eligible for refund or exchange. Exception apply where we are unable to repair the hair for the following reason ' Damage Beyond Repair', we will refund your payment and deduct shipping costs and transactions fees as per our returns policy.
 

SPECIAL ORDERS

We do not offer refunds for Special orders, Custom items or products including Pre- order requests. For the avoidance of doubt, Special orders refers to items ordered specifically for you on request and/ or may be custom -made in nature. Please see specific terms below.
Pre- Order Items: Any item/s pre- ordered which are not available in stock but not custom  or specially made product for example stock products.  If you are ordering from our website Pre- order item will show as out of stock but will be available to pre- order at your request. You would appreciate that we have taken time to order in such items specially for you and therefore will not accept any request for refund only exchange is accepted.   
Custom Made Items:
Please note custom or specially made products are not eligible for refunds or exchange. Such products are tailored made (specifically designed, prepared or made for you) and cannot be resold to another customer. Therefore no refunds or exchange will be allowed.  Please note that additional terms and conditions may also apply for this type of order.

PERSONAL ITEMS 

For Health and Safety reasons products that fall under personal item(s) are not eligible for returns or refund. If you purchase any of the following class of products, please note that strictly no returns or refund is permitted!  This includes, Lingerie, socks and tights. Plus, the following listed hair extensions and wigs (see below) including hair clips, tweezers, combs and brushes, razors, eye pencils and makeup, pins and needles, hair nets and wig caps.

WIGS & HAIR EXTENSIONS 

For the following type of extensions: wigs (including human and synthetic wigs, standard or normal wigs, lace wigs, front lace wigs), Clip in hair, Hair buns and Pony tails (any extensions with pre-attached clips), hair nets and wig caps. Such products come in contact with human scalp and sweat when worn. We cannot allow for returns for health and safety reasons and are unable to restock them to resell unto other customers.
